Earth Minutes

Earth Minutes

Earth Minutes, a project of the Human Space Program, is an inspiring initiative co-founded by space philosopher Frank White and visionary Dan Barstow, paying tribute to Donna White and her unwavering commitment to families and children.

Donna’s Project, co-founded by Frank White and Dan Barstow (who is the Director of WindowsOnEarth.org, and helped launch Earth Minutes by providing stunning movies of Earth by ISS astronauts), pays tribute to the remarkable Donna White, whose dedication to families and children has left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

With captivating imagery and the transformative power of “the Overview Effect”, Earth Minutes aims to create a better world by bringing the profound impact of the astronaut experience down to Earth.

We invite you to join us in this extraordinary journey toward a flourishing planet and thriving communities.

Instructions

To honor Donna White, and celebrate our glorious Earth, we are creating brief videos called “Earth Minutes". Each video is 1 min long, with a fly-over video of Earth, some audio (music, natural sounds, talking or . . .) and an optional inspiring quote.

We will promote this widely on social media - a growing series of Earth minutes.

If you want to contribute a video, we need three parts:

1.  Audio - music, natural sounds, talking - whatever you want

2.  Inspiring quote - if you want to include a quote or other pithy written text

3.  Earth video - you or I select whatever we want from WindowsOnEarth.org

When you have an idea, contact John Finegan who will work with you to hone the concept and will make the video.

Thanks so much!
